The Board of Directors is made up of the following dedicated members:
Mr. Kholi is a Partner in The Abraaj Group; previously he was managing partner of Aureos Ghana Advisers Limited and represented Aureos West Africa Fund LLC on the Leasafric Board. Before then he was the General Manager of Venture Fund Management Company Limited. He also worked with Shell Ghana Limited as Financial Accountant.
Mr. Kholi graduated from the University of Ghana with a B.Sc in Administration in 1989. He is a qualified Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.
Mr. Essandoh is a seasoned entrepreneur who has played a key role in the conceptualization and execution of major energy infrastructure projects in West Africa. Mr. Essandoh is the Founder and Chairman of GECAD (Ghana) Limited. He is an energy expert and an Electrical Engineer by training.
He spent almost 15 years as a Design Engineer and Executive Business Development and a Director in sub Sahara Africa for GE Energy Systems, USA. He holds a Bachelor and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca,New York.
Mr. Ndu, a Chartered Accountant, is the Managing Director of C&I Leasing Plc, the largest leasing company in Nigeria quoted on the Stock Exchange. He was until June 2000, the Chairman of the Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria (ELAN). Mr. Ndu acquired auditing and consulting experience with Price Waterhouse. Prior to joining the company, he had worked for the Ibru Group, as Group Finance Manager of the Fishing Group, and Ventures & Trusts Ltd., a venture capital company.
Mr. Otike-Odibi joined the service of C & I Leasing Plc in December 1998 as a Senior Manager in the company’s Port Harcourt Office. He rose to the post of Executive Director (C&I Leasing Plc) and was appointed to the Board in November 2007. Prior to joining C & I, Mr. Otike-Odibi was a Branch Manager with Diamond Bank Plc. Mr. Otike-Odibi graduated in 1988 with a B.Sc. in Accountancy from the University of Benin and obtained an M.Sc. from the same University in 1990. He also holds an MBA from the University of Benin (1991).

Mr. Alexander Mbakogu is the Managing Director of Leasafric Ghana Limited. He was seconded to Leasafric Ghana Limited from C & I Leasing Plc, Nigeria in 2007 as Head of Business Development.
Prior to his secondment to Leasafric, he has worked with C & I Leasing Plc since 1998 in various capacities in the Finance Department and in 2005 he ascended to the position of Manager, Finance and Accounts, with oversight responsibility for Treasury and funds Management.
Mr. Mbakogu was appointed General Manager of Leasafric in September 2010 to oversee the activities of the company. He was appointed Managing Director in August 2013.
Mr. Mbakogu is a chartered accountant and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants of Nigeria (ICMA). He also has an MBA (Finance) from the University of Lagos and a degree in Accounting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has extensive experience in leasing.
Mr. Kalu Onyeamu Kalu is the Head of Finance & Administration. He was seconded to Leasafric Ghana Limited from C & I Leasing Plc, Nigeria in 2010 as Head of Finance & Administration. Prior to his secondment to Leasafric, he has worked with C & I Leasing since 2002 in the Internal Control Department as an Assistant Internal Auditor. He also worked in various units of the Finance Department. He was the Head of Operations and payroll (Finance Control) before his secondment to Leasafric.
Before joining C & I Leasing, he worked as an Accountant with Frank Charles Nigeria Limited and Audit Senior in Alatta, Nzewi & Co. , a firm of Chartered Accountants.
Mr. Kalu is a graduate of Accountancy from Ibadan Polytechnic, Nigeria. He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Member of Certified Institute of Cost Managers (CICM). He holds MBA in Cost Management.
Nii Noi Narh is a qualified Fleet/ Transport and Logistics practitioner specialized in Corporate Transport Projects and Operations Management.
He is a graduate of Engineering from the Accra Polytechnic and a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, (CILT-UK). He Joins Leasafric with 14 combined years of Fleet Business Unit Management across various industrial sectors and Consultancy Services for Fleet Rental companies. He holds an Advanced Diploma in International Logistics and Transport – CILT, UK/GIMPA.
Nii Noi combines his Mechanical Engineering and Transport & Logistics backgrounds with years of Industry experience to deliver smart and efficient solutions to Fleet Business Operations Management.
Patricia Ivy Karikari is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Masters in Project Management from Methodist University and Wisconsin University Colleges of Ghana respectively.
She has a wealth of experience in Leasing, Events Management and Corporate Communications. Patricia has worked with Leasafric Ghana Ltd since 2010 in the Operating Lease Unit of the Operations Department.
Before joining Leasafric Ghana, she worked as an Accounts Manager for Emerge Consultancy Ltd, Ghana. She is currently a Business Development Executive, with responsibilities for Marketing and Fleet Management. Presently she manages a portfolio of about 200 fleet, offering services to multinational companies operating in Ghana.
Edem Ethel Akosua Dumenu graduated with a B.A Hons in Sociology from the University of Ghana.
Prior to joining Leasafric Ghana Limited, she worked as a management trainee at National Lottery Authority for 2 years, and taking on supervisory roles in Customer Service and Client Account Management.
As a business development executive at Leasafric Ghana Ltd she is directly responsible for sourcing of contracts and the day-to-day management of clients’ accounts.Since joining Leasafric in 2010, she has contributed immensely to growing the company’s client portfolio. She directly manages a fleet of 150 vehicles which serve a number of blue chip companies operating in various sectors of the economy.
Miss Queeneth Ruchi Wodu joined the service of C & I Leasing in April 2007 as a Business Development Executive. Before joining C & I Leasing, Miss Wodu worked in SIOTel Nig Ltd as a Customer Service Officer. She Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calabar and obtained a Masters in Managerial psychology from University of Lagos. Miss Wodu is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Prior to her secondment to Leasafric in the capacity of Country Manager, Hertz Ghana, Miss Wodu was the Head of Business development/Customer relations and she has a wealth of experience in Fleet management.
